This is what happens when perverts write elementary school text books . . . and more perverts buy them to use in government schools. This is one of those surreal posts where you feel odd quoting it on a blog for adults, yet the content is only part of what they teach little kids. This is government schools teaching 10 year olds to masturbate, and more. This is what you get when you let Planned Parenthood-types into government schools. People who kill babies for a living have no problem doing all sorts of perverted things.
A lot of people got upset when they shared Walsh’s post on Facebook and one of the images from the book appeared on their page. I hope they all caught the irony: They were embarrassed to have it on a page geared to older teens and adults, yet the Left insists on forcing it on 10 yr. olds.
This is clear cut, folks. Yes, I’m Mr. Absolutist. You’re absolutely right about that, and here’s an absolute statement: it is a deeply depraved and disordered understanding of childhood and sexuality that leads one to believe that such a book belongs on a public school reading list.
Imagine a stranger came up to your son on the playground and said: “Hey little boy, if you touch yourself it’ll feel good and tingly. I drew some cartoons of kids masturbating. Wanna see?” What would you do? Would you shake his hand and thank him for the helpful sex ed lesson? Or would you call the cops and see to it that this sicko has to alert the neighbors every time he changes his address?
There is no discernible distinction to be drawn between the creep on the playground and the public school official who approves this kind of material for children. This is child abuse, plain as day.
Fewer farms, richer farmers, and why agriculture subsidies are inexcusable – There is no good reason for the government to be involved here. It just results in more corporate welfare and rich politicians.
Once upon a time, there were all sorts of politically quaint justifications for why the federal government needed to dish out billions of dollars worth of tender, lovin’ subsidy care to the agriculture sector. Farmers need all of the direct payouts, and the tax credits, and the crop insurance, and the trade barriers that Congress so generously offers them, you see, because food is super important, and the federal government really needs to step in and ensure that we have a stable food supply. Plus, farming is a really tough and risky job, and who’s going to help all of those small, struggling family farmers that will hit hard times in down years?
All of which was and is utter baloney, of course. The federal government doesn’t feel the need to ensure that we have a stable supply of door knobs or washing machines, and yet somehow, we manage to get along just fine — and in fact, the federal government inflicts a lot of damaging free-market distortion onto the agriculture industry that subsidizes overproduction. As for those small, struggling family farmers we’re meant to visualize when we think of agriculture? Farming today is a largely corporate endeavor, and the vast majority of subsidies go to the biggest growers of mostly corn, soy, cotton, rice, and wheat. Those smaller farms growing the organic chard and strawberries the government tells us we’re supposed to be eating? Not so much.
The disconnect between factual reality and the make-believe world inhabited by the liberal elite has reached the point of total psychosis. As Gateway Pundit notes:
Blacks are 39 times more likely to commit a violent crime against whites then vice versa, and 136 times more likely to commit a robbery.
But that’s only down here in the real world. The situation is very different as viewed from the Castle. At liberal Salon, Brittney Cooper is calling for a violent response to the violence — that is, to the man bites dog type violence inflicted on blacks by whites. She hypes the hardly typical case of Michael Dunn, a guy with a screw loose who blew his top during an argument over loud rap and shot a black kid.
. . . Add that to the killing of Trayvon Martin in self-defense and Brittney has enough for a call for vengeance:
How much more are black people in this country supposed to take?
“I’m a deep believer in and practitioner of nonviolence.”
She wants blacks to take vengeance against whites who didn’t kill blacks? Wow, good thing she is a deep believer in and practitioner of nonviolence. I can only imagine what she’d do if she wasn’t. And I can only imagine the reaction if a white journalist called for vengeance on blacks because they are 39 times more likely to commit violence against whites.
“The reason why I will kill you is you are infidels…we must establish Islam in this country” – Muslims leaders aren’t that subtle. It isn’t like they haven’t warned us over and over. Yet useful idiots and false teachers continue to pretend they are the “religion of peace.” Yes, some are peaceful – and thank God for disobedient Muslims like that! – but their core teachings are very clear.
“We Jama’atu Ahlissunnah Lidda’awati Wal Jihad are fighting Christians wherever we meet them and those who believe in democracy, those who pursue Western education wherever we meet them. By Allah, we will kill whoever practices Democracy.
First Presbyterian of Houston about to break from PCUSA over gay sin – Good for them! If your church supports “same-sex marriage” it isn’t a real church.
Review: Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg — I wish Leftists would read this book — or at least read this review! They like to blame corporations and capitalists for everything, never realizing how their love of big government makes increased lobbying and corruption inevitable.
I also enjoyed the book for its discussion of Fascist economics; the author makes an excellent observation of how government regulation of business paradoxically brings in more business intrusion into government via lobbyists. The explosive growth of lobby industry in WashingtonD.C. is a good example of that. Can we blame the business if they are out to protect their interests when every regulation for an industry will impact them? The unintended consequence of this is that big businesses in their industry have advantage for these regulations so as to kill smaller competitors with more regulations and need for more employees (and specialists such as lawyers, accountants, etc) to follow throu
gh with the regulation. What you end up producing is a fascist-like relationship of government and businesses. The irony of government intruding in business is that it brings every business interests into the affair of politics, either to go against a competitor or defend against a competitor.
Joe Carter nailed it on Facebook. They mocked us when we said we needed a Constitutional marriage amendment. “Oh, you don’t need that, the states can make their own laws.” Then they cheered when activist judges overturned those state laws. They said that schools wouldn’t force LGBTQX propaganda on kids, then cheered when they did. And so on. Satan doesn’t mind being inconsistent.
Just five years ago we had assurances from LGBTQ activists that no one would be forced to violate their religious beliefs or conscience because of same-sex marriage. Now, we even have evangelical Christians saying that refusing to serve and support same-sex weddings is akin to Jim Crow laws. Some have even claimed that to say it is an issue of conscience is “unbiblical” and “illogical” since “Jesus would bake a cake for a same-sex wedding.”
Christians are getting tired of being told they are ridiculous scare mongers when they claim something is bound to happen, only to be later told they are bigots for not supporting the very claim they were told was never going to happen in the first place.
Ann Coulter on the minimum wage issue and illegal immigration – great points to use when people say how swell Australia because of their $14/hr. minimum wage (“try immigrating there.”). Don’t miss the last paragraph. The Republican leadership disgusts me in their inability to communicate on these issues.
Or, as the White House puts it on its website promoting an increase in the minimum wage, “Today, the real value of the minimum wage has fallen by nearly one-third since its peak in 1968.”
Why were wages so high until 1968? Because that’s when Teddy Kennedy’s 1965 Immigration Act kicked in, bringing in about a million immigrants a year, almost 90 percent of them unskilled workers from the Third World.
Our immigration policies massively redistribute wealth from the poorest Americans to the richest. It’s a basic law of economics that when the supply goes up, the price goes down. More workers means the price of their labor plummets.
Unfortunately, politicians spend a lot more time talking to rich employers than to working-class Americans. And the rich apparently have an insatiable appetite for cheap labor.
Having artificially created a glut of low-wage workers, now Democrats want to artificially raise their wages.
It’s win-win-win-win-win for Democrats.
— Employees who get a higher minimum wage are grateful to the Democrats.
— Employees who lose their jobs because of the minimum wage hike are grateful to the Democrats for generous government handouts.
— Poor immigrants who need government benefits are grateful to the Democrats.
— American businesses enjoying the deluge of cheap labor are grateful to the Democrats.
— Democratic politicians guaranteed re-election by virtue of ethnic bloc voting are grateful to the Democrats.
Do Republicans have any principles at all? Why isn’t the GOP demanding an end to this dump of unskilled workers/Democratic voters on the country?
Democrats show how much they love the poor by importing a million more of them to America each year. But then they prevent the last batch of poor immigrants from getting decent, well-paying jobs by bringing in another million poor people the next year.
You want a higher minimum wage? Turn off the spigot of low-wage workers pouring in to the U.S. and it will rise on its own through the iron law of supply and demand.
In response to the Democrats’ minimum wage proposal, Republicans should introduce a bill ending both legal and illegal immigration until the minimum wage rises naturally to $14 an hour.
Australia has a $15 minimum wage for adults — more than twice the U.S. minimum wage. Meanwhile, their official unemployment rate is lower than ours: 6 percent compared to 6.6 percent in the U.S. — and that’s with a lousy $7.25 minimum wage.
Sound good? Try immigrating there. Australia has some of the most restrictive immigration policies in the world. Their approach to immigration is to admit only people who will be good for Australia. (Weird!) Applicants are evaluated on a point system that gives preference to youth, English proficiency, education and skill level.
